A 340W solar and MPPT controller as well as a 2.88KWh battery power bank, ensure you never go flat, thus eliminating the dependence on powered campsites. To provide warmth during the night, we've integrated a robust 2KW Webasto diesel heater, coupled with lanolin-soaked sheep wool insulation. Sheep wool insulation has natural moisture repelling properties that make it resistant to mould growth. The lanolin present in sheep wool acts as a natural repellent to pests such as moths and dust mites. Furthermore, we have installed various USB and 12V outlets in the sleeping area. The rear windows as well as the window in the sliding door can be opened. In combination with an additional roof hatch, this vehicle offers excellent ventilation.
The Koru Star 3 Freedom is fully certified self-contained, compliant with current and future rules under this certification. Consequently, this vehicle will not only help you save a significant amount on powered campsite expenses but also enable exploration of remote areas in New Zealand.
